Coherent CYBER is searching for motivated and energetic professionals to develop the next generation curriculum and high school students' content. With the wide adoption of distance learning platforms, our customers require rich educational content: focused on the target audience, engaging, and measurable based on specific knowledge, skills, and abilities. Candidates must have a passion for education and explain complex topics and scenarios for the target audience [14-18 years old]. All student materials will be showcased in our custom learning platform **PRISM**; a cloud-based learning management system with curated student environments and activities.

Positions

Coherent CYBER is hiring individuals to develop the following:

• textbook-style dialog
• visual aids in the form of PowerPoint presentations
• assessment reviews and questions
• 5-10 minute exercises
• 45-minute hands-on practical application labs

Candidates are required to work under the direction of leadership and develop high-quality educational content. Content WILL contain zero spelling and grammatical errors and appropriate for the target audience.

Requirements

Candidates must have the following qualifications:

• eligible to work in the United States and the State of Texas
• at least three years experience in one or more of the following fields
  •   system administration
  •   cybersecurity
  •   digital forensics
  •   incident response
  •   cryptography
  •   secure application development
• hold one of the following certifications, or willing to earn the certificate in 30 days of hire
  •   CompTIA Security+
  •   CompTIA Network+
  •   CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+)
  •   CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP+)
  •   SANS GCFA or GCFE Certifications
  •   IACIS Certified Forensic Computer Examiner
• Basic familiarization with Microsoft PowerPoint
• Basic familiarization with the software package Grammarly https://www.grammarly.com/
• Ability to develop content based on requirements set forth by course designers
• Ability to simply explain one or more of the following concepts in a video teleconference (Zoom) interview
  •   Public Key Infrastructure
  •   Network Subnetting
  •   Kerberos Authentication
  •   Distributed Denial of Service Attacks
  •   Difference Between Viruses, Worms, Trojans, Cryptomalware, & Ransomware

Additionally, well-qualified candidates will have the following:

• experience in curriculum development
• experience in classroom instruction
• basic understanding of markdown language
• familiarization with NIST NICE Framework
• familiarization with TEA TEKS
